IIT Kanpur Professor Sankar P Rath Named Teachers Awardee
Professor Sankar P Rath from IIT Kanpur has been chosen for a national teaching award.
The award recognizes excellence in teaching and education.
President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to give the awards on September 5, 2026.
The ceremony will take place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
In total, 21 teachers and faculty members were selected.
They come from higher education institutions and polytechnics.
Twelve are from central institutions, five are from state universities, and four are from polytechnics.
