Ukraine Strikes Deep Into Russia
Ukraine's military has attacked several important places deep inside Russia.
The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said they hit two big storage places in Moscow and Tambov, which are very far from the war zone.
These places were used to send parts for Russia's drones and navigation tools.
Ukraine also said they hit targets in the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea, and a part of Crimea that Russia has taken over.
The goal was to make it harder for Russia to keep using their drones and equipment.
Ukrainian forces struck two major logistics facilities in Moscow and Tambov regions, over 500 km and nearly 700 km from the frontline.
The facilities were used to supply components for Russian drone production and navigation equipment.
Ukraine also claimed to have hit targets in the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea, and occupied Crimea.
The strikes were announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The purpose of the strikes was to disrupt Russian military supply chains.
