Indore Commissioner Pushes for Park Development
The head of Indore's city government had a meeting with park workers.
He said it's important to make the city's parks and gardens beautiful.
He told the workers to take good care of the parks and to stop people from building things where they shouldn't.
One worker wasn't there when he should have been, so his pay was cut for a week.
The boss also said they should plant special kinds of plants that don't need much water and are easy to take care of.
They should also find empty land to turn into more parks.
The workers have to show pictures of their work every week.
Municipal Commissioner Dilipkumar Yadav emphasized the importance of developing attractive gardens and parks in Indore.
He directed officials to maintain and develop dividers, green belts, rotaries, squares, and gardens across all wards.
Any negligence in garden-related tasks would result in immediate transfer to sanitation work.
Garden supervisor Pawan Rathore was penalized with a 7-day salary dock for being absent without permission.
Weekly review meetings will be held, requiring supervisors to present completed works and future plans.
