Barcelona Rejects PSG's Opening Offer for Ferran Torres
Two big football clubs are talking about a player.
The player is Ferran Torres, a football star from Spain.
Right now he plays for FC Barcelona, a famous club in Spain.
Another club, Paris Saint-Germain from France, wants to buy him.
They offered 40 million euros for him.
That is a huge amount of money!
But Barcelona said no because they think he is worth even more.
Ferran has already agreed to move to PSG and wants to go there soon.
Both clubs will keep talking in the coming days to try to reach an agreement.
Ferran is a hero in Spain because he scored the winning goal in the World Cup final.
FC Barcelona have turned down Paris Saint-Germain's opening offer for Spanish midfielder Ferran Torres.
PSG submitted a €40 million fixed-fee offer, which Barcelona rejected as falling significantly short of their valuation.
Torres has already agreed personal terms with PSG and is eager to complete the move as soon as possible.
Barcelona believe Torres is worth more because of his Spain performances, international experience and age (26).
More negotiations are expected in the coming days as both clubs seek an agreement, with PSG keen to add experienced players.
