Mumbai Court Convicts Man Based on Testimony of Minor with Mental Disability
A man in Mumbai was found guilty of hurting a young boy.
The boy was 17 years old, but because he had trouble with his thinking, it was like he was only 5 years old in his mind.
The court listened to what the boy said, even though he had a disability.
The judge decided that the boy was brave to speak up and that the man who hurt him deserved a punishment.
So, the man was sent to jail for 10 years and has to pay some money.
The court said that even if someone has a disability, their words can still be believed.
