Assam Women Reunited With Families After Years in Nagpur
Imagine two ladies, Sabira and Aarti, who were lost from their families.
One was missing for a very long time!
Luckily, they were found and taken care of at a special hospital in Nagpur.
People at the hospital and police worked together like detectives, finding where they came from.
It took lots of calls and effort, but they found the families!
The families then came to Nagpur, and everyone was so happy when they met again.

Two women from Assam, Sabira and Aarti, were reunited with their families after being missing for 14 years and 14 months respectively.
The reunions were made possible through cross-state coordination, dedicated counseling, and the efforts of the Regional Mental Hospital's social service department.
Sabira, who had traveled across six states and used three identities, was found after a year of efforts by social service staff.
Aarti's family was located in Kokrajhar district, Assam, and Sabira's family was also traced after police involvement.
The families traveled to Nagpur, and emotional reunions took place on July 28, 2024, with additional reunions of two more women.
