El Salvador Schools Enforce New Dress Codes Under Military Captain

In El Salvador, the new person in charge of schools, who is from the military, has made some new rules about how students should look.

They can't have certain haircuts like mohawks or the 'Edgar cut.'

If students don't follow the rules, they might get lower grades or have to do extra work.

The president agrees with these rules.

Some people, like teachers, don't think it's a good idea to have a military person in charge of schools because it reminds them of when the military was in charge of the country.
