BRICS Sets Up Tax Groups to Influence Global Rules

India proposed two groups to organize this cooperation.
One group will discuss how countries tax international companies and settle tax disagreements.
The other group will study better ways to measure tax revenue.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said developing countries are especially affected by transfer-pricing disputes.
She also said BRICS should have a stronger voice while global tax rules are being rewritten.
The groups are meant to keep working after India finishes leading BRICS.
