NC, Congress, Left Protest for J&K Statehood
Many political leaders from different parties in India are coming together to protest in Delhi.
They want the government to give full statehood back to Jammu and Kashmir.
The protest is being organized by the National Conference, and many other leaders from the Congress and Left parties are joining.
The protest was supposed to be at Jantar Mantar, but they couldn't get permission, so they moved it to a different place.
Some other parties are not joining the protest.
The leaders say the government promised to restore statehood after elections, but it hasn't happened yet.
Legislators and leaders from National Conference, Congress, CPI, and CPI(M) are protesting in Delhi for the restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
The protest is organized by the National Conference and led by Farooq Abdullah.
The initial planned venue, Jantar Mantar, was denied permission, so the protest venue was changed to an undisclosed location.
Similar protests are being held at district headquarters across Jammu and Kashmir.
The People’s Democratic Party, Awami Ittehad Party, and Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference are not participating in the protest.
