UP Scholarship 2026-27: Eligibility, Deadlines and Financial Assistance

The Uttar Pradesh government has a scholarship scheme for the 2026-27 school year.

It gives financial help to students who meet the rules.

Students in Classes 9 to 12 can be covered.

So can students studying for degrees, diplomas, ITI courses and other post-matric courses.

Students from several communities, including General, SC, ST, OBC and minority communities, may qualify.

Each group has its own eligibility conditions.

Applications for Classes 9 to 12 opened on August 11, but their deadlines have passed.

Students in courses beyond Class 12 under the Dashmottar category can apply until October 31, 2026.

The amount depends on the student’s category, course and whether they live in a hostel or commute.
