Force Motors Advances Electric Ambulances Under PM E-DRIVE Scheme

Force Motors is showing an electric ambulance based on its Traveller vehicle.

It has versions for basic and advanced emergency medical care.

The company says it can travel up to 235 km on a charge.

It can reach a top speed of 75 kmph.

Charging can take between about 1.3 and four hours, depending on the charging method.

India’s PM E-DRIVE scheme has set aside Rs 500 crore for electric ambulances.

The scheme could support as many as 3,811 such vehicles.

Electric ambulances may help reduce pollution, but they need dependable charging and enough range.

Force Motors also sees opportunities for electric Travellers and buses in public transport.
