Naidu Distributes Pattadar Passbooks, Urges Unity
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi gave new passbooks to farmers in Leguntapadu village.
These passbooks have a special code that shows all the details about their land.
Naidu said there should be no fights between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over water.
He also said that the government is helping farmers by giving them these passbooks and other support.
The government has also provided a lot of urea for farming and plans to buy rice from farmers to help them.
Naidu mentioned that the current government fixed mistakes made by the previous government and is working to make sure there are no problems with the land records.
He also talked about how the previous government spent a lot of money on putting pictures on passbooks and survey stones, which he thinks was not necessary.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi distributed new pattadar passbooks to 2,042 farmers in Leguntapadu village.
The passbooks contain QR codes that provide comprehensive land details when scanned.
Naidu urged unity between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, stating there is no need for controversy over river waters.
The coalition government, led by Naidu, abolished the Land Titling Act introduced by the previous YSRCP government.
The government has supplied 7,000 metric tonnes of urea for the current agriculture season in Kovur constituency and plans to procure paddy to provide minimum support price for farmers' produce.
