Imran Khan's Sisters Accuse Army Chief of Torture
Imran Khan, a former leader of Pakistan, is in jail.
His sister, Uzma Khanum, visited him after a long time and said he is okay but feeling mentally tortured.
She said he is not allowed to talk to anyone and is kept alone most of the time.
Imran Khan blames the army chief, General Asim Munir, for this.
Another sister, Aleema Khanum, said that General Asim Munir wants to start a war with India because he is a radicalised Islamist.
Many people from his political party protested outside the jail and court, saying the rules are not being followed.
The party also said Imran has been in jail for a very long time and is being treated badly.
Aleema Khanum believes that Imran Khan represents 90% of the people of Pakistan and that the authorities are trying to suppress the people by isolating him.
Imran Khan's sister, Uzma Khanum, visited him in Adiala Jail after weeks of restricted access and reported that he is being mentally tortured and blamed General Asim Munir.
Uzma Khanum said that Imran Khan is kept in his room all day with limited outside time and no communication.
Protests were held by PTI supporters outside the jail and Islamabad High Court over restricted visitation rights.
PTI released a statement claiming Khan has been arbitrarily detained for 850 days in inhumane conditions.
Aleema Khanum, another sister of Imran Khan, accused General Asim Munir of being a radicalised Islamist and yearning for war with India, while praising Imran Khan for trying to befriend India.
