Trump Reads Rubio’s Note at Oil Meeting

During a meeting at the White House with oil and gas executives, President Donald Trump received a handwritten note from Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Trump read the note aloud, which said, 'Go back to Chevron.

They want to discuss something.'

Vice President JD Vance and Rubio were smiling as Trump interacted with them.

Rubio had previously made headlines in October 2025 for passing a note to Trump about a possible ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

The note suggested Trump should approve a social media post about the ceasefire.

Trump mentioned that Rubio could possibly do a better job than him in negotiations.

The meeting also included updates from oil company representatives.

Critics mocked Trump's behavior, suggesting it showed confusion and lack of awareness, with some comparing it to dementia.
