Andhra Launches Campaign for Bhogapuram Airport Inauguration
The Andhra Pradesh government has started a week-long campaign called 'Uttarandhra Kalalaku Rekkalu' which means 'wings to the dreams of north Andhra'.
This campaign is to celebrate the opening of a new international airport in Bhogapuram.
The airport will be opened by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on August 1.
The campaign includes many fun activities like quizzes, painting competitions, and sports events.
There will also be special shows and events to promote local products and tourism.
The government wants everyone to join in and make the airport opening a big success.
The Andhra Pradesh government launched a week-long campaign from July 25 to August 1 to mark the inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the airport on August 1 in Vizianagaram district.
The campaign covers six districts and includes digital countdown screens, quiz and painting competitions, special prayers, and tribal entrepreneurship promotion.
Various events such as an industrial conference, MSME Expo, Coffee Farmers' Conference, NRI and Industrialists’ Meet, and IT Career Expo are planned.
On July 31, RK Beach Road in Visakhapatnam will host a marathon, cyclothon, flash mobs, and a drone show showcasing the Bhogapuram airport project.
