IILM University Launches Foundry One Innovation Hub with IIT Delhi's FITT
Imagine a new place at IILM University where students can not only learn about starting businesses but actually build and grow their own companies while they are still in school.
This new place, called Foundry One, is like a special club where students, smart researchers, business founders, and people with money to invest all work together.
They want to help new ideas in areas like artificial intelligence, health, and technology become real products that can help people and make India stronger.
It's like a super-powered incubator that takes ideas from classrooms and helps them become successful businesses, with help from experts from IIT Delhi.
They also have a special degree program where students can do this as part of their studies.
IILM University has launched Foundry One, an Innovation Hub & Accelerator, in collaboration with FITT (IIT Delhi).
Foundry One aims to transform universities into engines of creation by merging academic learning with entrepreneurial action.
The initiative is inspired by Y Combinator's founder-first ethos and T-Hub Hyderabad's collaborative ecosystem.
A 300,000 sq. ft. innovation campus in Gurugram will house students, researchers, founders, mentors, and investors.
IILM University also introduced a four-year Entrepreneurial Startup Degree Program allowing students to build ventures as part of their curriculum.
