Manaksia Industries to Set Up 7 MWp Solar Plant in Gujarat
Manaksia Industries, a company that makes coated steel, is building a big solar power system in Gujarat.
This system will be like a giant solar panel farm.
It will generate a lot of clean electricity for the company's factories.
This will help them use less electricity from the regular power company, which saves money.
It's also good for the environment because it means less pollution.
The company is using advanced technology, like special solar panels that can capture sunlight from both sides and trackers that follow the sun.
This project is a big step for the company to become more sustainable and grow in a responsible way.
Manaksia Coated Metals & Industries Limited is establishing a 7 MWp solar power plant in Gujarat.
The project aims to offset 50-55% of grid power dependency and reduce power costs by up to 50%.
It is expected to generate 13.30 million units of renewable electricity annually and offset approximately 9,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year.
Advanced technologies including Mono Bifacial N-Type TOPCon modules and a Single Axis Tracker system will be deployed.
The solar plant is targeted for commissioning in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27).
