CCTV Camera Installation Nears Completion in Yadgir
The city of Yadgir is getting new eyes!
The government is putting up many cameras, called CCTV cameras, in 85 different spots to help keep the city safe.
The police department wanted these cameras to help solve crimes and manage traffic.
They got money from a special fund to pay for the cameras, which cost ₹70 lakhs.
Most of the cameras are now set up.
The cameras will be watched from a control room at the Town Police station.
This will help the police keep an eye on what's happening, especially as the city grows and gets busier.
Installation of CCTV cameras at 85 locations in Yadgir city is almost complete.
The project was initiated by the Police Department to improve safety.
The project cost ₹70 lakhs, with ₹53 lakhs provided by the KKRDB.
A control room is being established at the Town Police station to monitor the cameras.
