Scroll's Vaishnavi Rathore Wins Climate Journalism Award

Vaishnavi Rathore, a journalist, won an award for her article about how climate change is making it harder to get salt.

The award was given by Covering Climate Now, a group that gives awards to journalists who write about climate change.

Her article explained that rising cyclonic storms, fueled by climate change, are hurting the salt industry in Gujarat, India, which is a major salt producer.

The judges liked how she showed how local climate change affected the salt workers.

This is not the first time that a Scroll journalist has won this award.
