HAL Shares Surge Over 3% on Tejas Engine Deal with GE Aerospace

HAL, a government-owned company that makes fighter jets, has made a big deal with General Electric, an American company.

HAL will buy 113 jet engines from GE for its Tejas fighter jets.

This deal is for 97 of the newer Tejas planes.

The engines will start arriving in 2027 and be delivered until 2032.

HAL's stock price went up because this deal is expected to help them build the planes on time and efficiently.

Analysts believe this is good news for HAL and could lead to better financial results.

The Indian Air Force needs these new planes to replace older ones and strengthen its fighter jet capabilities.

HAL already has many orders, and this one will make its order book even bigger.
