Boman Irani Trusts Priyadarshan’s Instincts While Filming Haiwaan
Boman Irani usually practices his acting lines many times before filming.
For Haiwaan, he decided to follow director Priyadarshan’s instructions instead.
Priyadarshan sometimes asked him to say a line once, look at the camera, and leave.
This meant Irani’s detailed preparation had to change.
Irani said actors should be ready to adjust their work for the director.
He also said being too fixed on one acting method can be unhelpful.
While working on the film, Irani watched how Priyadarshan worked with people.
