Australia Launches Royal Commission on Anti-Semitism After Bondi Attack

Australia Launches Royal Commission on Anti-Semitism After Bondi Attack

Australia's Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, has decided to set up a very important investigation called a royal commission.

This is to look into antisemitism in the country.

The decision comes after a bad event at Bondi Beach in Sydney, where 15 people were killed during a Jewish holiday celebration.

The investigation will be led by a former judge named Virginia Bell.

The goal is to understand why such things happen and how to prevent them in the future.

The findings of this investigation are expected by December 14.

The person suspected of doing this bad thing is a 24-year-old man named Naveed Akram.

The Prime Minister said that this was a terrorist attack inspired by a group called ISIS.

Many people, including politicians and community leaders, had been asking for this investigation to happen.
