How Casting Director Found Mardaani 2 Actor In 'Dark'
Shanoo Sharma, a casting director, chose Vishal Jethwa for the movie Mardaani 2.
She saw him in a dimly lit place and had him audition.
His first audition wasn't perfect, so she told him to take a break and have tea.
After a second audition, she gave him the part because his laugh was spooky.
Rani Mukerji, a main actress, also thought he was great.
Shanoo Sharma, YRF's casting director, selected Vishal Jethwa for Mardaani 2 after a chance meeting.
Sharma noticed Jethwa's eye color in low lighting and asked him to audition.
Jethwa's initial audition was deemed not ideal, and he was asked to return after having tea.
Sharma was impressed by Jethwa's second audition, especially his 'creepy' laugh.
Rani Mukerji also praised Jethwa's performance as the antagonist in the film.
