Air India targets 30% domestic market share
Air India and Air India Express want to increase their share of the domestic aviation market to 30% in the next two years.
They currently have about 26-27% of the market.
To achieve this, they plan to add more planes to their fleet, aiming to have around 300 planes in five years.
This growth will help them compete with the current market leader, IndiGo.
The airline is also watching the geopolitical situation closely to adjust their routes if needed.
They expect airfares to stabilize as oil prices cool down and supplies return to normal.
Air India Group aims to reach 30% domestic market share in two years, up from current 26-27%.
Fleet expansion planned with 40-50 narrow-body aircraft deliveries annually for the next several years.
Projected fleet size to grow from 103 to 300 aircraft in five years.
Airfares expected to stabilize as oil prices cool off and supplies return to normal.
Air India Express remains flexible to adapt to geopolitical disruptions and network adjustments.
