Pakistani Astronaut to Visit China's Tiangong Space Station
China is building its own space station called Tiangong, where astronauts live and do science experiments, just like the International Space Station.
China announced that they will pick two astronauts from Pakistan to train with their own astronauts.
One of these Pakistani astronauts will get to go on a trip to the Tiangong Space Station for a short time.
This will be the very first person from another country to visit China's space station!
Pakistan and China have been working together on space technology for a while.
The astronaut who goes will help with experiments for Pakistan while they are in space.
The selection process has already begun, with some steps happening in Pakistan and others in China.
China's Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced plans to train Pakistani astronauts for the Tiangong Space Station.
One selected Pakistani astronaut will become the first foreign visitor to the Chinese Space Station on a short-duration mission.
The astronaut will serve as a payload expert and conduct scientific experiments for Pakistan.
The selection process, initiated in February, involves preliminary selection in Pakistan and further stages in China.
