Denmark Updates Wage Stats for Foreign Worker Permits
Denmark uses wage information to decide if foreign workers can get work permits.
The agency called SIRI uses wage data from Statistics Denmark.
This data is gathered to check the standards that salaries should adhere to.
They've updated their wage information, so applications submitted before October 3, 2025 will use the old data, and those after will use the new data.
These updates affect the Positive List, which shows jobs with a shortage of skilled workers.
If you have a job on this list, you can apply for a permit.
You must ensure the pay meets Danish standards.
SIRI updated the wage statistics used for the Positive List for skilled work.
The updated statistics are based on Q2 2025 data and are valid from October 3, 2025.
Applications submitted before October 3, 2025, will be assessed using the Q1 2024 data.
The Positive List includes jobs with shortages where foreign workers can apply.
Employers need to ensure they meet educational obligations for apprentices.
