Tarun Tahiliani's Navaratna Redefines Couture Experience
Tarun Tahiliani, a famous fashion designer, did something different at India Couture Week 2026.
Instead of the usual runway show, he created an immersive exhibition called Navaratna at Bikaner House.
This exhibition allowed people to walk around and look at the beautiful clothes and jewelry at their own pace.
The clothes were displayed in a way that showed off the amazing craftsmanship and artistry that went into making them.
Tarun wanted people to take their time and really appreciate the details and hard work that goes into each piece.
He also introduced new jewelry and watches that go well with Indian ceremonial wear.
The whole event was a celebration of India's rich artisanal heritage and the future of couture.
Tarun Tahiliani replaced the traditional runway with an immersive exhibition at Bikaner House for India Couture Week 2026.
The exhibition, titled Navaratna, featured nine different design expressions of contemporary Indian couture.
Guests were encouraged to explore the garments at their own pace, appreciating the craftsmanship and details.
Technology was used to enhance the atmosphere without overshadowing the garments.
Tarun Tahiliani introduced a new jewelry line and collaborated with Titan Nebula on pure gold watches.
