Edelweiss Subsidiary Files DRHP for IPO
EAAA India Alternatives, a company that helps people invest their money, has taken a big step to raise money.
They filed some important papers with a government body called Sebi on January 20, 2026.
This process is called an IPO, which allows companies to sell shares to the public and get funds.
EAAA is offering to sell shares, but they won't keep any of the money.
Instead, the money will go to the people who are selling their shares, like the company's owners and other investors.
The company has big plans and needs this money to grow even more.
EAAA India Alternatives, a subsidiary of Edelweiss Financial Services, filed DRHP with Sebi on 20 January 2026.
The IPO is an offer-for-sale (OFS) of equity shares with a face value of ₹5 each.
The company aims to raise up to ₹1,500 crore through the IPO.
The IPO is a book-built issue, with the number of shares to be determined based on investor demand.
The company will not receive any proceeds from the IPO as it is purely an OFS.
