Goa's Startup Ecosystem Experiences Significant Growth
Goa's startup scene has exploded!
Back in 2017, there were only a few, but now there are over 650 businesses just starting up.
A lot of these new companies are run by women, which is great.
The government is helping these new businesses with money and places to work.
The biggest types of startups are in IT, travel, and healthcare.
Goa even has a special 3D printing place, which is pretty cool!
Goa's startup ecosystem has grown significantly, from 12 in 2017 to 651 in 2025.
310 of the 651 startups are led by women entrepreneurs.
Startups are supported by the Startup and IT Promotion Cell.
IT startups lead in sector distribution with 76 ventures.
The Goa government offers financial and infrastructure support, including seed grants and incubators.
