Karnataka Minister Questions Need for National Investigation Agency Probe
In Dharmasthala, there's a controversy involving accusations of multiple murders and body burials.
The state government formed a special team to look into this.
Now, some people want the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to take over the investigation.
The Home Minister, G Parameshwara, is wondering why the NIA is needed since the state already has a team working on it.
He mentioned that if there are any issues, the state should be notified.
He also mentioned that Congress workers also marched to Dharmasthala because the BJP did.
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara questioned the need for an NIA probe into the Dharmasthala case.
The state government has already constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
