Sion Bridge Seen in Use Before Official Opening

Sion Bridge Seen in Use Before Official Opening

The Sion bridge is being rebuilt because the old one was declared unsafe.

Some videos showed people walking and riding motorcycles across the new bridge before it officially opened.

The BMC later put barriers at the entrances.

Officials have not confirmed that the public can use it yet.

Work on the bridge is nearing completion.

The BMC is aiming to finish by October 15, 2026.

The project is also connected to plans for two additional railway lines.

When the bridge reopens, it is expected to help people travelling through the area.
