Encroachment Allegations Against Developers in Hyderabad
Two companies in Hyderabad are being accused of building on land that belongs to the government and near lakes.
One company, Vertex Homes, is said to have built on a small river called a nala, making it narrower and causing water to flood nearby homes.
Another company, Praneeth Pranav, is accused of building villas on government land and putting up walls around a lake, stopping people from using it.
The court and officials are looking into these complaints to see if the companies did something wrong and to decide what to do next.
Vertex Homes Pvt. Ltd is accused of encroaching upon a nala in Nallagandla, reducing its width to 5 meters.
The company is alleged to have constructed an RCC slab and dumped debris into the watercourse, causing stagnation of stormwater and flooding in nearby residential areas.
Praneeth Pranav Grove Park is accused of encroaching upon government land and the buffer zone of Md. Osmankunta lake in Bachupally.
The developer is alleged to have constructed boundary walls around the lake, restricting public access.
Authorities are conducting surveys and inspections to verify the allegations and will take necessary action if needed.
