Technocraft Ventures debuts with 47% premium on stock exchanges

A company called Technocraft Ventures builds infrastructure like roads and other big projects.

It wanted to raise money to grow, so it sold shares of itself to people.

This is called an IPO.

Lots of people wanted to buy the shares — 38 times more people than there were shares available.

When the shares finally started trading on Friday, they were worth more than what people paid at the IPO.

The shares opened at Rs 285 each, which was already more than the Rs 212 asking price.

They went even higher during the day, to Rs 334.60.

At the end of the day, each share was worth Rs 311.15.

That means people who bought the shares made a good profit.

The whole company was valued at around Rs 1,232 crore.

The money raised will help the company pay for its day-to-day costs.
