TSCS Achieves 54 Successful Prenatal Diagnosis Tests
The Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society (TSCS) is very happy to share that they have done 54 important tests called Prenatal Diagnosis (PND) tests.
These tests help doctors check if a baby in the mommy's tummy has Thalassemia or Sickle Cell Anemia, which are serious blood problems.
The tests were done between May 2025 and the start of 2026 at a special hospital called Kamala Hospital and Research Centre.
TSCS wants to stop these diseases from happening in babies.
They are working hard to make sure fewer people get these diseases in the future.
This is a big step towards their goal of a 'Thalassemia-Free India'.
TSCS conducted 54 successful Prenatal Diagnosis (PND) tests between May 2025 and January 1, 2026.
The tests were performed at the Kamala Hospital and Research Centre.
PND tests assess the fetus for Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia.
The milestone is a step towards TSCS's mission of a 'Thalassemia-Free India'.
TSCS aims to make advanced diagnostic facilities accessible for preventive healthcare.
