Heavy Rains Fail to Deter Tirumala Chandraprabha Vahanam Devotees

Tirumala is holding a religious festival called Brahmotsavams.

On its seventh day, many devotees came out even though it was raining heavily.

They watched Sri Malayappa Swamy travel on the Chandraprabha Vahanam.

The deity was decorated as Murali Krishna.

A covered moving shelter followed the procession to help protect people from the rain.

Officials arranged safety and other conveniences for the devotees.

Earlier that day, another procession took place on the Suryaprabha Vahanam.

Devotees believe the Chandraprabha Vahanam brings spiritual comfort and removes three kinds of troubles.
