Bengaluru to Host India-Netherlands Davis Cup Tie
Bengaluru will host the India-Netherlands Davis Cup Qualifiers tie on February 7-8, 2025.
This is the first time in nine years that Bengaluru will host a Davis Cup tie.
India recently beat Switzerland to reach this stage, while the Netherlands lost to Argentina.
Sumit Nagal will lead India's team.
The last time Bengaluru hosted a Davis Cup tie was in 2017 against Uzbekistan, which India won 4-1.
The Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association has been active in hosting international tennis events.
Bengaluru awarded hosting rights for the India-Netherlands Davis Cup Qualifiers tie on February 7-8, 2025.
Delhi also expressed interest but Bengaluru won the bidding.
India's last Davis Cup hosting in Bengaluru was in 2017 against Uzbekistan, which they won 4-1.
India beat Switzerland in September 2024 to reach the Qualifiers stage.
Netherlands lost to Argentina in the second round of the Qualifiers in September 2024.
