IIT-Bombay Alumni's Property 'Grabbed' in Mahabaleshwar
A 67-year-old man named Sunil Kamat, who is a graduate of IIT Bombay, has been living in a house in Mahabaleshwar for 27 years.
Recently, some people who are part of a group called 'land mafia' have taken over his property using fake papers.
They have also threatened his daughter and ignored court orders.
Sunil has asked the government for help, but the officials have not done anything to stop these people.
He is very upset and has asked the Chief Minister to investigate and protect him and other senior citizens like him.
Sunil Jagannath Kamat, a 67-year-old IIT Bombay graduate, alleges his property in Mahabaleshwar was illegally seized through forged documents.
The land mafia is accused of using police intimidation, brute force, and violating court orders to take over the property.
Kamat claims his daughter has been threatened within their own residence.
Despite complaints to the Revenue Minister and Chief Minister, Kamat alleges officials have ignored his pleas and provided protection to the land grabbers.
Kamat has requested an independent inquiry and immediate protection for himself and other senior citizens facing similar issues.
