Goa Temple Installs New Idol, Preserving Centuries-Old Legacy
Imagine a very old temple in Goa where people from the Gujarati community have gathered for a special event.
They've just placed a brand new statue of Lord Laxminarayan in the temple!
But, instead of getting rid of the old statue, which is very old, they kept it safe inside.
This temple was started a long time ago by someone from Diu who had a special dream.
The people there are celebrating the temple's 375th birthday and they had many fun activities for everyone to enjoy.
They carefully preserved a beautiful, old piece of art from a German researcher and have many detailed architectural works.
This place is very important to the Gujarati community in Goa and it keeps their traditions alive.
