BRS alleges coal supply disruptions, outages at Bhadradri thermal station

BRS leaders visited a power station in Manuguru to check how it was working.

Former minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar said power problems were hurting farmers.

He claimed farmers were getting electricity in phases and facing low voltage.

He also said transformers were failing when many farm pumps operated at the same time.

According to him, farmers were being asked to pay for replacing damaged transformers.

Ajay Kumar alleged that delayed government payments to Singareni were reducing coal supplies to power stations.

The BRS team said two of the station’s four units were not working.

They asked for more coal, regular electricity and free repairs or replacements for damaged farm equipment.

These claims were made by BRS leaders, and the article does not include a response from the government.
