Medvedev Advances in Brisbane; Lehecka Retires

Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, won his match against Frances Tiafoe and is now in the quarterfinals of the Brisbane International.

He played really well, hitting many winners and aces.

Meanwhile, Jiri Lehecka had to stop his match because of an ankle injury.

Jessica Pegula also won her first match of the year against Anna Kalinskaya, even though it was a close game.

She is now moving on to the next round.

Sebastian Korda will play against Alex Michelsen in the quarterfinals because Lehecka had to retire.
