Film Fraternity Condemns Violence at Kolkata’s SRFTI Campus

A fight happened at a film school in Kolkata called SRFTI.

Students and members of the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat were involved.

Several people were injured.

Many filmmakers and actors said the violence was unacceptable.

They asked the police and institute authorities to investigate.

Some also demanded punishment for the people responsible.

Anurag Kashyap criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party while sharing the students’ statement.

Riddhi Sen questioned why more members of the film industry had not spoken out.

One director shared a photograph that he said showed the letters RSS written in students’ blood.
