Kimbal Reaffirms North-East Energy Commitment at Summit
Kimbal, a company that makes electricity smarter, reaffirmed its commitment to the North-East power sector.
They provide smart meters, which help track how much electricity people use.
Kimbal began in Assam in 2016 and has since deployed over 1.5 million smart meters in the region.
These meters help power companies use electricity more efficiently.
Kimbal is also creating new tools to manage energy better, like ways for businesses to buy power smarter and a system to monitor power stations.
Their goal is to make sure everyone has reliable and affordable electricity.
Kimbal Private Limited reinforced its commitment to the North-East power sector at the IEEMA summit.
The company's first utility project began in Assam in 2016, and has since deployed over 1.5 million AMI endpoints.
Kimbal supplies smart meters to five Northeastern utilities, helping curb losses and improve outage response.
