Delhi Jal Board Launches Cashless Care for 50,000 Pensioners

The Delhi Jal Board has started a new medical facility for about 50,000 pensioners and their families.

They can get medical treatment without first paying the full bill themselves.

Before this, retired workers had to pay and then ask the authorities to repay them.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the launch.

PWD Minister Parvesh Verma and other officials were also there.

Gupta said the facility is part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

She said it is meant to support people who worked for the Jal Board.

Officials described the change as help for pensioners and their families when they need healthcare.
