SGT University Hosts International Kho-Kho Training Course
SGT University in India held a special training course for people involved in the sport of Kho-Kho.
Coaches and officials from many countries came to learn.
They studied things like how to coach the sport better and how to keep players safe from injuries.
A government minister praised the university for supporting this traditional Indian game.
The goal is to help Kho-Kho become a more professional sport and maybe even get it included in the Olympics someday.
SGT University hosted the International Kho-Kho Course Level III-A 2025 in Gurugram.
The course was organized in partnership with the Kho-Kho Federation of India (KKFI) and International Kho-Kho Federation (IKKF).
The program included training for Kho-Kho coaches and technical officials from India and abroad.
Haryana's Sports Minister commended the university for promoting indigenous sports.
The course focused on sports science, ethical coaching, and injury prevention.
