Mixed Q3 Results for Indian Firms
Three big Indian companies shared their financial results for the last three months of 2025.
Vedanta did really well, making a lot more money than last year.
Jindal Steel, on the other hand, had a tough time and made much less profit because of higher costs and lower steel prices.
Ambuja Cements also had a hard time, with their profits dropping a lot because of higher costs and lower prices for their products.
These results show that some companies are doing great, while others are facing challenges.
Vedanta reported a 60% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹7,807 crore, with revenue up 19% to ₹45,899 crore.
Jindal Steel's net profit fell nearly 80% to ₹190 crore due to higher costs and lower steel prices, despite a 10.9% revenue increase to ₹13,026 crore.
Ambuja Cements' net profit dropped 86% to ₹367 crore, though revenue rose 20% to ₹10,181 crore, impacted by higher costs and lower realizations.
Vedanta achieved record EBITDA of ₹15,171 crore, with significant contributions from its zinc and aluminum businesses.
Jindal Steel's EBITDA fell 25% to ₹1,634 crore, and net debt increased to ₹15,443 crore due to ongoing capital expenditure.
