Delhi Assembly Goes Solar, Launches e-Vidhan for Efficiency
The Delhi government just made a big move towards being green and modern!
They installed a giant solar panel on their building to get all their electricity from the sun, making it the first in the country to do so.
Also, they started using a new computer system called NeVA, which helps them use less paper.
This will save money and make things run more smoothly.
They're hoping this will set a good example for others!
Delhi Assembly became the first legislature in India powered entirely by solar energy.
A 500-kilowatt rooftop solar power plant was inaugurated.
The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) was launched, moving towards paperless operations.
The initiatives were inaugurated by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
