Davos 2026: Trade Tensions and Economic Concerns
Seven big Indian business leaders met with Donald Trump at a special event in Davos.
This happened while India and the US are having some problems.
The US has put a big tax on things India sells to them, and they also made it harder and more expensive for Indian companies to get special work visas.
This could make it tougher for big Indian tech companies to hire people in the US.
Gita Gopinath, a smart economist, said these problems could slow down India's growth.
She also said India can't just sell to other countries forever and needs to fix things with the US.
Trump said he thinks they will make a good deal with India.

Gita Gopinath warned that India is not immune to global economic turbulence and that trade diversions are not a sustainable solution.
Trump expressed confidence in reaching a good deal with India, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and indicating that a bilateral trade pact remains on the agenda.
