GVMC Opens Dedicated Feeding Zones for Stray Dogs

GVMC Opens Dedicated Feeding Zones for Stray Dogs

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation is setting up special places where people can feed stray dogs.

A new place opened on Thursday in Autonagar, Gajuwaka.

The city says it has already made three feeding zones.

They have bowls for food and containers for drinking water.

Officials want people to feed dogs at these places instead of leaving food on roads.

This can help dogs get food and water.

It may also help keep public areas cleaner.

The Kamal Welfare Foundation has offered funding support for about 25 zones.
