BMC Election 2026: Shiv Sena-MNS Alliance Releases Joint Manifesto
The Shiv Sena and MNS parties in Mumbai have come together to release a plan for the upcoming city elections.
They promised to help women, workers, and middle-class families with things like money support, cheap food, and free electricity.
They also plan to build more homes and improve public transport.
Meanwhile, the BJP leader Ameet Satam accused the Shiv Sena of being corrupt and not doing a good job in the past 25 years.
He said they wasted a lot of money on bad projects and didn't fix important issues like roads and schools.
The elections will happen soon, and both sides are trying to convince people to vote for them.
Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS released a joint manifesto for the BMC elections 2026, focusing on welfare measures and civic infrastructure.
The manifesto promises a monthly allowance of Rs 1,500 for house helps and women from the Koli community, subsidised meals, affordable housing, and 100 units of free electricity.
The alliance also pledged to reduce the minimum bus fare to Rs 5, establish new medical colleges, and expand BMC-run schools.
Mumbai BJP President Ameet Satam alleged large-scale corruption worth Rs 3 lakh crore by Shiv Sena (UBT) over the last 25 years.
