Bhupender Gupta Appointed NHPC Chairman & MD
Bhupender Gupta is now the boss of NHPC, a company that makes electricity from water.
Before this, he was a technical director at THDC India.
He also leads another power company called SJVN.
He has worked in the power industry for over 34 years, planning and building power plants.
He worked on a large project in Bhutan, too.
He wants India to use more clean energy, like water and the sun.
He also plans to use new technologies like AI to help make energy more reliable and secure.
Bhupender Gupta has been appointed Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC.
